Pashinyan extends birthday greetings to Putin

Nikol Pashinyan spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday, the Armenian prime minister's office reports.

Pashinyan sent birthday greetings to Putin who celebrates his 71st birth anniversary today.

"The two leaders discussed the situation after the forced displacement of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians, as well as a number of issues on the bilateral agenda," the PM's office said in its readout of the phone call.
