Iran to switch to national currency in trade with Armenia

Iran will switch to the national currency in trade operations with Armenia, Russia and Belarus, RIA Novosti reported on Monday, citing Kambiz Mirkazemi, a member of the Russian-Iranian Chamber of Commerce.

Besides, Iran’s customs borders will be fully open for imports of goods from these countries, he said.

Mirkazemi noted Iran and Russia had agreed to lift customs duties on imports of goods from the two countries by March 2024.
