Armenian chess players' team wins gold in 1st Serbian League

The team of Armenian GMs Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Robert Hovhannisyan won a gold medal in the 1st Serbian League, the Armenian Chess Federation reported on Monday.

Robert scored 8 points out of 10, improving his rating by 15 points, Samvel scored 7.5 points out of 11, improving his rating by 4 points.

Samvel and Robert played for the "Naftagas" team, which included GM Branko Tadic, IM Milos Stankovic, IM Stefan Tadic, IM Milovan Ratkovic and IM Predrag Bodiroga.
