Armenian wrestler beats Azeri rival at U23 World Championships

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Karen Khachatryan has defeated his Azerbaijani rival at the U23 World Championships being held in Tirana, Albania, on October 23-29.

Khachatryan defeated Azerbaijan's Elshad Mammadov 3-1 in the 82 kg competition and will now fight for a bronze medal, the Armenian Wrestling Federation reported.
