Political activist Jirair Sefilian summoned to NSS

Political activist Jirair Sefilian has been summoned to Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) for questioning over a “terror plot” foiled by the agency last week, his party reported on Monday.

The National Democratic Pole party's board members will hold a news conference on the matter soon.

The NSS said on Thursday that it had arrested five members of an armed group that plotted a bombing attack, seizure of Armenian government buildings and assassinations.
