People who left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to return home – U.S. State Dept.

Armenians who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to return home, U.S. Department of State spokesman Matthew Miller said on Tuesday. 

"We continue to believe that people who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to come home if they wish to do so, and that’s a right that should be upheld," he told a press briefing.

More than 100,000 ethnic Armenians fled Nagorno-Karabakh in the wake of Azerbaijan’s offensive on September 19-20.
