Parliament congratulates Levon Kocharyan on birthday

Before the start of the parliament sitting on Thursday, Speaker Alen Simonyan said that Karen Hambardzumyan, an MP from the ruling Civil Contract faction, and Levon Kocharyan, a deputy from the opposition Hayastan faction, celebrate their birthdays today.

Simonyan proposed those present at the sitting to congratulate the deputies.

"Let's wish them a happy birthday," Simonyan said.

Levon Kocharyan was sworn in as Hayastan’s new MP on November 14.
