Armenian soldier wounded by Azeri fire

An Armenian soldier was wounded by Azerbaijani fire on Saturday morning, the Defense Ministry reported.

“On November 18, at around 9:50 a.m., an Armenian army soldier identified as E. H. suffered a gunshot injury in the wake of the shot fired by the Azerbaijani armed forces against the Armenian combat outposts near Paruyr Sevak,” the ministry said in a statement.

“The health condition of the serviceman is assessed as moderate, with no danger to life at present,” it added.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
