Armenia asked CSTO to withdraw assistance document, head says

Armenia has requested its partners in the Moscow-led Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to withdraw the document on assistance to the country, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said on Monday.

“Although all other allies supported the document, the Armenian side did not express any interest in it. Moreover, at the final stage of our work they requested its removal from the agenda at all," he told Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting.
