Writers' Union of Armenia to elect new chairman

The Writers' Union of Armenia will elect a new chairman at its 20th Congress on November 25.

The current leader of the union, Edward Militonyan, was nominated for the post at a meeting on Monday.

No other candidacies have been announced yet.

The nominations are open until the day of the Congress, the Writers' Union told Panorama.am.

Edward Militonyan was elected Chairman of the Writers' Union in 2013 and re-elected in 2018.
