Armenian men's team wins bronze at European Chess Championship

The Armenian men's national team became the bronze medalist of the European Team Chess Championship held in Budva, Montenegro, on November 11-20.

In the last round of the championship, GM Shant Sargsyan scored an important victory over GM Michael Adams, the Armenian Chess Federation said.

The games of other team members ended in a draw.

Thus, the Armenian team defeated the English team with a score of 2.5-1.5, winning the bronze medal.
