Armenian parliament holds minute's silence in memory of killed soldier

The Armenian National Assembly held a minute’s silence at the start of its sitting on Tuesday to pay tribute to the soldier killed by Azerbaijani fire.

The Azerbaijani armed forces discharged fire against the Armenian combat position in Bardzruni, Vayots Dzor Province on Monday afternoon, Armenia's Defense Ministry said in a statement, adding that serviceman Gerasim Arakelyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
