Armenian parliament speaker to skip CSTO meetings

Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly Alen Simonyan will not attend the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council meeting and the 16th plenary session scheduled to be held in Moscow on December 19.

Simonyan’s spokesperson, Tsovinar Khachatryan, said on Tuesday that the Armenian parliamentary delegation would skip the meetings either.

“The Armenian parliament speaker confirmed his decision not to travel to Moscow in a letter to Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin,” she added.
