Russian peacekeepers' vehicle catches fire in Armenia's Syunik

A truck belonging to Russian peacekeepers caught fire in Armenia’s Syunik Province on Friday morning.

The incident occurred on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, Shamshyan.com reported.

The Kamaz truck was reportedly carrying weapons and ammunition.

A Russian border guard was hospitalized after the fire.

The report said firefighters were battling the flames.

Traffic along the road section was suspended.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
