Three victims of the huge fuel depot explosion in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) have not yet been identified, Armenia’s Investigative Committee said on Friday.
The law-enforcement agency said in a statement that the blast that occurred near Stepanakert in late September killed a total of 218 people, including two on-duty police officers and 31 servicemen.
At least 120 people are now known to have suffered injuries in the wake of the explosion. 21 people remain missing after the accident, the Investigative Committee said.
“Three blast victims remain unidentified because their relatives have not yet applied to the agency to provide samples for a forensic DNA testing,” reads the statement.
