Pashinyan reinstates NSS chief

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reinstated Armen Abazyan as director of the National Security Service (NSS).

Earlier on Friday, Abazyan was dismissed by President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

According to the new law, the NSS directors and deputy head are appointed and dismissed by the Armenian prime minister.
