EU envoy encouraged by 'substantive' contacts between Yerevan and Baku

Toivo Klaar, the EU's special representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, has completed his two-day trip in Armenia.

"Ending two days of good meetings in Armenia. Emphasised EU's continued support for a comprehensive Armenia-Azerbaijan peace settlement," he posted on X on Friday.

"Encouraged by substantive bilateral contacts between Baku and Yerevan & looking forward to also fully re-engage with Azerbaijani interlocutors following elections," Klaar added.
