Lori governor's office explains explosion-like sounds heard in Vanadzor

The authorities in Armenia's Lori Province offered explanations over the explosion-like sounds heard in the city of Vanadzor and its surrounding villages on Wednesday afternoon.

“Dear residents of the Vanadzor community, about an hour ago explosion-like sounds were heard in Vanadzor, which caused concerns among the people. We urge you not to panic, as they were caused by aviation exercises," the governor’s office said in a statement.
