41 measles cases confirmed in Armenia in January

A total of 41 measles cases have been confirmed in Armenia since the beginning of 2024, the health authorities said.

Three measles patients are currently hospitalized. 31 others were discharged from the hospital in January.

31 of the new virus cases were reported among children, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention said.

Armenia recorded 545 cases of measles in 2023.
