Former Armenian MP killed in car crash

Former Armenian MP Hrant Ayvazyan has been killed in a car crash.

The accident occurred on the Yerevan-Vanadzor highway late on Monday morning.

Shamshyan.com reported that the crash involved three vehicles – Toyօta Camry, Nissan March and Ford Transit.

The former MP died in the wake of the crash, while another person was hospitalized at the Aparan Medical Center with injuries.

Ayvazyan was elected to the parliament on the Bright Armenia Party ticket in 2018.
