Sen. Peters calls for sanctions against Azerbaijan over Artsakh attack

Senator Gary Peters has called on the Biden administration to sanction Azerbaijan for its attack on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in September 2023.

"I'm calling on the Administration to end aid to the Azeri government & sanction those responsible for the attack on Nagorno-Karabakh," he posted on X on Friday.

"The Armenian community in Michigan has seen their homeland ravaged by the unjustified aggression of Azerbaijan. It's time for accountability," Peters added.
