Famous Armenian linguist Lavrenti Mirzoyan dies at 74

Famous Armenian linguist, professor and academician Lavrenti Mirzoyan passed away in Armenia at the age of 74.

His son Ashot Mirzoyan broke the news on social media on Thursday.

Mirzoyan was a member of the Union of Journalists.

He delivered lectures at Armenia’s Public Administration Academy, Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University and National University of Architecture and Construction.

In total, he edited more than 60 science books and textbooks.
