Wet snow to hit parts of Armenia

Rain is expected in Armenia during the weekend and early next week, the weather service reports.

Wet snow is forecast for Lori, Tavush, Syunik Provinces and mountainous parts of the country.

Southwest winds will be 2-5 m/s.

Temperatures are set to drop further by 4-5C in Lori, Tavush, Syunik, remaining largely unchanged in other provinces.

Showers are possible in the capital Yerevan in the next few days.
