European Championships: Two Armenian freestyle wresters win first bouts

Armenian freestyle wrestlers Hayk Papikyan (74 kg) and Knyaz Iboyan (92 kg) have won their first bouts at the European Championships in Bucharest, Romania.

Papikyan defeated his Polish rival in the qualifying round, while Iboyan beat his Belarusian opponent to make it to the quarterfinals, the Wrestling Federation of Armenia reported on Saturday.

Freestyle wrestlers Arsen Harutyunyan (57 kg) and Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) will fight for gold medals on Saturday.
