Former Armenian military deputy chief released

Lieutenant-General Tiran Khachatryan, the former deputy chief of the Armenian military’s General Staff, has been set free.

A court in Yerevan ordered his release from pre-trial custody on bail on Monday, his lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan reported.

Khachatryan was released from the courtroom.
