Armenian parliament ratifies agreement on EU mission status

The pro-government majority in the Armenian parliament on Wednesday passed all 14 bills on the agenda.

MPs from the ruling Civil Contract party voted to ratify the agreement between the European Union and Armenia on the status of the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA).

The document outlines the activities of the EU monitoring mission on Armenia’s border with Azerbaijan.

Opposition MPs abstained or did not turn up to vote.
