Davit Khachaturyan nominated as top court judge

The General Assembly of Judges has nominated Davit Khachaturyan of the Criminal Chamber of Armenia’s Court of Cassation to become a judge of the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) reported on Friday.

"On behalf of the judicial authority, we would like to congratulate Mr. Khachaturyan and wish him the best of luck in the election in the National Assembly,” the SJC said in a statement.
