Voskepar church to host Easter prayer service

The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates Easter, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, on Sunday 31 March.

The Holy Mother of God Church in the border village of Voskepar will host an Easter prayer service presided over by Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, head of the Tavush Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The service kicks off at 5pm, the diocese reports.

The prayers will be followed by the traditional Easter game egg tapping.
