Armenian parliament speaker names top court nominee

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan on Wednesday issued a statement on Davit Khachaturyan’s nomination as a judge of the Constitutional Court.

"Pursuant to Article 166 (Part 1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the General Assembly of Judges has nominated Davit Khachaturyan to become a judge of the Constitutional Court,” reads the statement.
