Soldier hospitalized with mine blast injuries in Armenia's Tavush

A soldier has suffered serious mine injuries and hospitalized in Armenia’s Tavush Province bordering Azerbaijan, according to local journalist Voskan Sargsyan.

"A serviceman (born in 1996) was taken to the Ijevan Medical Center on 4 April with severe mine blast injuries to both legs,” he said in a social media post.

“The Armenian Ministry of Defense has not yet issued a statement on the incident,” the reporter added.
