Azerbaijan fires at Armenian border positions in Syunik

The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan’s reports that its troops opened fire on Azerbaijani combat positions in the southeastern part of the border on Monday night.

“At the same time, the Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that on April 8, at 10:50 p.m., the Azerbaijani armed forces initiated fire towards the positions of the Armenian military in the vicinity of Aravus (Syunik Province) and at 10:55 p.m. in Khoznavar (Syunik Province)," it said in a statement.
