A group of people staged a protest near Yerevan’s Liberty Square on Saturday after the Armenian authorities announced a border delimitation deal with Azerbaijan which would see the handover of four villages in Tavush Province to Baku.
The protesters blocked Tumanyan Street and urged others to join them.
“Honk the horns, lands are being surrendered!” a protesting woman urged the drivers stuck on the road.
Police officers were dispatched to the area to restore traffic.
