Yerevan airport reveals reason for flight delays

Zvartnots International Airport has delayed around a dozen flights to and from Yerevan initially scheduled for Monday morning. The airport website reports that flights from Yerevan to Kapan, Venice, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai and vice versa have been postponed.

Zvartnots Airport spokeswoman Lusine Moghrovyan confirmed to Panorama.am that the flights have been delayed until 1:30pm.

"The delays have been triggered by repairs on a runway section,” she explained.
