Police detain protesters blocking key road in Armenia's Tavush

Police officers on Thursday detained male protesters blocking a section of an interstate highway connecting Armenia and Georgia near Kirants, a border village in Armenia’s Tavush Province.

The detained demonstrators also included minors.

Hundreds of villagers have been holding nonstop protests in and outside Kirants in a bid to stop the unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan for 13 days now.
