Archbishop Bagrat meets protester injured by riot police

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan of the Tavush Diocese, the leader of a protest movement against the Armenian government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan, met with an activist who was injured by riot police officers and hospitalized on Tuesday, the National Front reports.

The man, identified as Karen Gevorgyan, suffered a leg fracture due to the police brutality at a demonstration in Yerevan's Sakharov Square.
