Acts of civil disobedience resume in Armenia

Members and supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan resumed peaceful acts of civil disobedience across Armenia on Wednesday morning.

Activists blocked Abovyan Street and the intersection of Teryan and Aram Streets in Yerevan with garbage cans.

The protest movement demands Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's resignation following his decision to unilaterally surrender lands to Azerbaijan.

Later on Wednesday, a rally is planned outside the Opera House where Nikol Pashinyan will be attending the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) annual meeting.
