Macron posts tribute to Charles Aznavour on 100th anniversary

French President Emmanuel Macron took to social media to pay tribute to legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour on his 100th birth anniversary marked on May 22.

"Just yesterday, Charles Aznavour was with us, singing our sorrows and our dreams," Macron said in English and Armenian posts.

“Born 100 years ago, a legend of a century of tragedy and freedom in France and Armenia, universal, and now, eternal!" he added.
