Armenian border villagers burn their property before land handover to Azerbaijan

Residents of Kirants, a border village in Armenia's Tavush Province, are burning their property and land plots in areas which will fall under Azerbaijan’s control as a result of the border delimitation carried out by Nikol Pashinyan’s government.

“Alik, you can't burn them!” a police officer tries to stop the men.

The villagers remain undeterred as they remember how they cleared the territory centimeter by centimeter.
