New active cyclone makes landfall in Armenia

A new active Mediterranean cyclone has made landfall in Armenia, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center warns.

The cyclone is expected to deliver rain and thunderstorms to most parts of Armenia on May 24-26.

Downpours and hail are possible in some areas, including the capital Yerevan.

Temperatures are set to drop by 5-7C on 24-25 May to rise as much afterwards.
