Yerevan Conservatory student wins top prize at international violin competition

Shushanna Puchinyan, a first-year student of Yerevan’s Komitas State Conservatory, has clinched the first prize at the Citta di Cervignano International Violin Competition in Italy.

The competition brought together violinists from numerous countries.

Contestants from Russia, Slovenia, and Italy made it to the final along with Shushanna, who was picked as the winner by the jury led by renowned Dutch violinist Ilya Grubert.
