Ex-CSTO chief's son detained at protest in Yerevan

Igor Khachaturov, the son of former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov, was detained while blocking Abovyan Street in Yerevan as part of a series of anti-government protests on Monday.

"We're very strong. See you in three hours," he said after being forced into a police van.

Heeding a call from Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, acts of civil disobedience resumed in Yerevan early on Monday to press for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
