Protesters block street in central Yerevan

Members and supporters of the Tavush for the Homeland movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan on Monday blocked a street in central Yerevan after marching from the courtyard of St. Anna Church.

The protesters staged a sit-in at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Leo Street, blocking traffic there.

Acts of civil disobedience resumed in and outside Yerevan early on Monday to press for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
