Singer injured by police at Yerevan protest

Famous Armenian singer Arsen Grigoryan (also known as Mro) sustained a leg injury while being detained at a protest in Yerevan on Monday.

An ambulance took the man to the Erebouni Medical Center.

The singer was detained while blocking the Mashtots Avenue as part of peaceful acts of civil disobedience which resumed in and outside Yerevan early on Monday to press for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
