Car protest held in central Yerevan

Heeding a call from Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, people held a car rally in central Yerevan on Thursday morning.

The archbishop leading a protest movement against the Armenian government’s unilateral territorial concessions to Azerbaijan earlier urged supporters to drive their cars to Republic Square facing the government building before the start of today's regular cabinet meeting.

"We will leave the cars on the square and move to the government building," he said.
