Tensions run high outside Armenian Foreign Ministry amid protest

Tensions ran high outside the Armenian Foreign Ministry building in Yerevan on Friday as riot police clashed with protesters.

Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan leading the push to oust Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan warned police officers to refrain from provocations.

“One of our guys was hit in the face. The one who hit him must be held to account. I urge all those following us on the web and TV to make for the Foreign Ministry building,” he announced.
