Yerevan court upholds acquittal of government critic

Yerevan’s Court of Appeals on Wednesday upheld the acquittal of information security expert Armine Adibekyan, rejecting the prosecutors' appeal, her lawyer Ruben Melikyan reported.

Adibekyan, a critic of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government, was acquitted in the “Goebbels case” in January.

The case concerned her 2022 Facebook post which said, "If Pashinyan does not resort to Hitler's last step, the fate of Goebbels awaits him.”
