Reporter: Pashinyan plans to visit Baku in November

Journalist and political analyst Ahmet Şairoğlu has revealed that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to Azerbaijan in November.

Pashinyan reportedly plans to attend the UN COP29 summit in Baku.

Panorama.am could not reach his spokeswoman, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, and the Information Department of the Prime Minister’s Office for comment on the report.

In an interview with NE Global in May, Elchin Amirbayov, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's envoy for special assignments, said now that the whole world’s eyes are focused on Baku hosting COP29, it is a good opportunity for Armenia and Azerbaijan to finally sign the peace agreement.

“The opinion shared by both Yerevan and Baku is that today we are in a much more promising situation,” the official opined.
