Yerevan-Sevan highway reopens after explosion

Traffic was restored along the Yerevan-Sevan highway in Armenia on Friday morning a few hours after a blast prompted its closure, the Interior Ministry reported.

The explosion and a subsequent fire broke out at a gas station near the highway last night, leaving seven people injured and hospitalized.

One of the victims was discharged from the hospital today.

At present, firefighting and cooling operations are underway.
