Ani Samsonyan quits Bright Armenia Party

Ani Samsonyan has announced her decision to leave the Bright Armenia Party (Lusavor Hayastan).

In a Facebook post on Monday, Samsonyan said she had completed her mission in the party.

“On May 29, I requested the Bright Armenia Governing Board to dismiss me as a board member and terminate my membership in the party,” she wrote, without giving any reason for her departure.

Samsonyan said she would remain engaged in politics.
