Aliyev commends U.S. commitment to supporting Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization

Azerbaijan praises the U.S. commitment to supporting the normalization of relations with Armenia, Azeri President Ilham Aliyev said in his congratulatory message to U.S. President Joe Biden on the occasion of Independence Day marked on July 4.

“We commend the United States’ commitment to supporting the normalization of relations with Armenia, ensuring lasting peace in the region and facilitating the preparation of a peace treaty,” reads the message.
